Job description

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional product team working on web applications that make a real difference to animal health outcomes. You'll help design, build, and iterate user interfaces that are accessible, responsive, and easy to use.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js
  • Collaborate with UX / UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Contribute to shared component libraries and design systems
  • Apply best practices in accessibility, performance, and responsive design
  • Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deploy and monitor applications using AWS-based infrastructure and DevOps tools
  • Stay up to date with modern frontend frameworks, libraries, and patterns

Requirements

We're looking for a frontend developer who is passionate about clean code, modern frameworks, and building digital experiences that work for real users :

  • Strong experience with React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript / TypeScript

  • Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals - accessibility, performance, responsive design

  • Experience working with REST and / or GraphQL APIs

  • Familiarity with CI / CD, version control (Git), and modern DevOps practices

  • Experience working in a cloud environment, ideally AWS

  • A collaborative mindset and good communication skills

  • Enthusiasm for working in an agile, product-focused team Bonus If You Also Have

  • Experience working with design systems and shared component libraries

  • Knowledge of server-side rendering, static site generation, or hybrid rendering

  • Exposure to observability and monitoring tools for frontend applications
