Job description
As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional product team working on web applications that make a real difference to animal health outcomes. You'll help design, build, and iterate user interfaces that are accessible, responsive, and easy to use.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js
- Collaborate with UX / UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Contribute to shared component libraries and design systems
- Apply best practices in accessibility, performance, and responsive design
- Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Deploy and monitor applications using AWS-based infrastructure and DevOps tools
- Stay up to date with modern frontend frameworks, libraries, and patterns
Requirements
We're looking for a frontend developer who is passionate about clean code, modern frameworks, and building digital experiences that work for real users :

Strong experience with React.js, Next.js, and modern JavaScript / TypeScript

Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals - accessibility, performance, responsive design

Experience working with REST and / or GraphQL APIs

Familiarity with CI / CD, version control (Git), and modern DevOps practices

Experience working in a cloud environment, ideally AWS

A collaborative mindset and good communication skills

Enthusiasm for working in an agile, product-focused team Bonus If You Also Have

Experience working with design systems and shared component libraries

Knowledge of server-side rendering, static site generation, or hybrid rendering

Exposure to observability and monitoring tools for frontend applications
