Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications for display and POS projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, production, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and delivered to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D CAD designs for retail displays, fixtures, and bespoke visual merchandising solutions.
• Work with project teams to translate concepts and client briefs into manufacturable designs.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Create technical drawings, assembly instructions, and material specifications.
• Review prototypes and support testing to ensure design functionality and durability.
• Liaise with production teams to resolve design issues and optimise manufacturing processes.

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer in manufacturing, industrial design, or retail display sectors.
• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
