Job description
- Architect cloud-native data platforms using Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Spark.
- Design data ingestion, transformation, and modeling frameworks for batch and streaming workloads.
- Define data governance, lineage, security, and compliance standards for regulated Financial Services environments.
- Create reference architectures, best practices, and reusable patterns for data engineering teams.
- Work with client stakeholders to translate business and regulatory needs into robust data architecture designs.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data architecture or data engineering, with strong SQL, Python, and Spark expertise.
- Deep hands-on experience with Databricks, data modeling, and lakehouse design.
- Strong understanding of cloud data services (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Familiarity with Financial Services domain concepts: risk, compliance, fraud, AML/KYC, regulatory reporting.
