Job description

  • Develop user interface designs that are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with business requirements using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, translating insights into effective design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of UX/UI designs into the product development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal performance across devices using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SCSS, Less (style sheet language), and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Perform usability testing and user acceptance testing to validate design effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain information architecture consistency and apply recognised design patterns to enhance user experience.
  • Analyse data from tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Target to inform iterative improvements on digital interfaces.
  • Stay current with industry trends in UX/UI design, interaction design, data visualisation, and emerging technologies such as AWS or APIs integration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, user-centred digital experiences across various platforms. This role involves collaborating closely with product development teams to design intuitive interfaces, optimise usability, and enhance overall user satisfaction. Candidates should possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital design, interaction design, and front-end development principles. Experience with a broad range of design tools and familiarity with web technologies are essential to succeed in this position., * Proven expertise in digital design tools including Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamiq, Axure, Zeplin.

  • Strong knowledge of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS (including SCSS), JavaScript (React, Angular), and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping software like Balsamiq or Visio.
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal is advantageous.
  • Understanding of SDLC processes along with requirements gathering and business analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of usability principles, information architecture optimisation, interaction design methodologies, and responsive web design practices.
  • Ability to conduct user research using tools like Qualtrics or Omniture for data analysis insights.
  • Experience working with APIs for data visualisation or system integrations is desirable.
  • Strong analysis skills coupled with the ability to interpret user feedback for continuous improvement of interfaces.
