Job description
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to take over and complete development of Health & Wellness App - a comprehensive wellness, parasite-cleansing, and natural health application currently built with modern web technologies.
The ideal candidate must be highly skilled in React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and building PWAs, with strong experience developing data-rich health/wellness applications, tracking tools, dashboards, and e-commerce systems.
You will be responsible for bug fixes, new feature development, integrations, optimizations, and completing unfinished modules to bring the app to full production readiness.
Core ResponsibilitiesFrontend (React + TypeScript + UI Systems)
- Continue development using React 18 + TypeScript
- Work with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui
- Implement advanced search, filtering, and interactive UI patterns
- Fix existing UI/UX bugs and optimize performance
- Complete the PWA conversion (offline capability, installable app)
Backend (Node.js + Express + PostgreSQL)
- Work with existing backend built on Node.js + Express
- Manage database schemas using Drizzle ORM
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and API performance
- Build new API endpoints for upcoming features
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive health-related data
App Modules to Complete
- Influencer referral system (tracking links, dashboards, payouts)
- Stripe integration (checkout, subscriptions, order management)
- Shopping cart & full e-commerce flow
- Email notifications and transactional templates
- Push notifications (web + PWA)
- Data export & analytics dashboards
- Fix existing bugs in:
- Exercise session forms
- Dashboard widgets
- Search & filters
Security & Compliance
- Implement best practices for secure data access
- Manage authentication (Replit Auth currently used)
- Handle health data responsibly (HIPAA considerations)
- Add disclaimers, age-gates, secure storage for keys
Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, Required Skills & ExperienceFrontend Skills
- Expert in React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Experience with shadcn/ui, Radix UI, or similar component systems
- Strong UI/UX understanding
- Experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
Backend Skills
- Strong experience with:
- Node.js
- Express
- PostgreSQL
- Drizzle ORM (or Prisma/Knex with willingness to learn)
- Building secure REST APIs
- Authentication & session management, * Experience with health/wellness apps is a bonus
- Strong understanding of data structures & relational databases
- Must write clean, documented, well-tested code
- Ability to understand existing architecture
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to deliver independently with minimal supervision
