Job description
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll work within the Data Team and collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, Architecture, and Security.
Your work will span Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker. You'll also contribute to strategic projects such as hardware refreshes, market expansion, and monitoring improvements. What You'll Be Doing
- Architect and automate infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Build reusable platform stacks using Kubernetes, Docker, and VMs.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for seamless delivery.
- Drive automation to reduce configuration drift and improve consistency.
- Support cloud governance, security hardening, and operational readiness.
- Share knowledge and champion DevOps culture across teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience in platform/infrastructure engineering (Linux & Windows).
- Hands-on expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
- Solid AWS knowledge (EC2, S3, IAM, VPCs, networking).
- Bonus: Familiarity with VMware stack (vSphere, NSX, VCF).
- Excellent Scripting and automation skills.
- Collaborative mindset and openness to change.
