This role is a unique opportunity to work in some of the most cutting-edge data centers in the world. Amazon data centers are large-scale high-density centers where you will be working on changing the face of cloud technology in the region. Key job responsibilities * Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs. * Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts. * Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events. * Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis). * Physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment. * Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle to travel between sites. Basic Qualifications * 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience. * 1+ years of computer networking experience. * High school or equivalent diploma. Preferred Qualifications * Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure. * Knowledge of server hardware and components. * Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts.
