Application Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ServiceNow App Engine and ServiceNow Audit Management. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the security of our applications contributing to the companys mission of providing secure and reliable services. The position operates during the day shift with no travel required. Responsibilities

• Oversee the security aspects of applications developed on the ServiceNow App Engine to ensure robust protection against vulnerabilities.
• Implement and manage security protocols within the ServiceNow Audit Management framework to maintain compliance and safeguard data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into application development processes.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for application security to development teams enhancing overall security posture.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies procedures and incident response plans.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents responding promptly to mitigate risks and prevent breaches.
• Utilize domain knowledge in operations to optimize security measures and align them with organizational objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve security strategies.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members to raise awareness and understanding of application security principles.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Support the development of security-related features and enhancements in applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Contribute to the companys purpose by ensuring that applications are secure reliable and trustworthy thereby enhancing customer confidence.
