Senior Engineer, Data Engineering

At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for an Senior Data & AI Engineer to join our pharmaceutical partner. You will play a key role in designing and implementing advanced AI and data science solutions that drive innovation across the company's digital platforms. &##Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Python and FastAPI, integrating AI and machine learning algorithms. Manage and optimize databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, SQL, and NoSQL to ensure efficient data storage and analysis. Implement CI/CD pipelines with Docker and GitLab CI, automating data workflows and deployments. Collaborate closely with data scientists and development teams to integrate AI models into production environments. Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of AI-based data services. &##Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. ~5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or AI Engineer. ~ Strong Python programming skills, with experience in FastAPI. ~ Proven experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, SQL/NoSQL databases. ~ Hands-on experience with Docker, GitLab CI, and Airflow. ~ Knowledge of Snowflake or similar data warehouse technologies. ~ Familiarity with machine learning model integration and deployment. ~ Intermediate English level (working proficiency). &##Since 2015, Astek Iberia has been accompanying its customers in their development throughout Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Basque Country, Andalusia, Galicia, etc.).
