Job description
- Responsible for supporting, configuring and building Systems IT infrastructures, installation on a variety of projects across the business.
Responsibility:
Implementation, maintenance, optimisation and support of customer's systems supplied and supported by Thales.
Required hardware and software core elements:
- Microsoft and RHEL Servers - physical and virtual
- Microsoft Windows 10/11 client
- Hypervisor technology
- Scripting - Powershell, Configuration as Code - Ansible - DSC
- Server and client operating systems configuration
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Group Policies
- SCCM, MECM and WSUS
- Windows and A/V generic updates
- Providing 3rd level support and mentoring 2nd/1st line support teams
- Alignment with third-party vendors and their applicable software and hardware
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant IT hands-on experience
- Networking hands on experience and desire to upskill
- Experience of and a strong understanding of IT security
- Experience of multi-site organisation
- Ideally currently SC Cleared
