Thought Machine Architect

We are looking for an experienced Thought Machine Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of solutions built on Thought Machine Vault. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in core banking systems, cloud architecture, and modern API-driven banking platforms. You will work closely with business, product, and engineering teams to define scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures., * Architect end-to-end solutions using Thought Machine Vault (Smart Contracts, Vault APIs, integrations).

• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Define integration patterns between Vault and upstream/downstream systems (payments, channels, CRM, risk, KYC).
• Provide technical leadership across the entire delivery lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with Thought Machine's product and technical teams to resolve issues and implement best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and solution optimization.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on Vault architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design.

• 10+ years of experience in core banking, digital banking, or financial services technology.
• Strong hands-on experience with Thought Machine Vault, including Smart Contract development.
• Solid understanding of banking products (loans, deposits, payments, cards, interest, fees).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong proficiency in Python, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep knowledge of system integration patterns and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Thought Machine Certified Vault Architect or Smart Contract Developer certification.
• Experience with digital core transformation programs.
