JSON Integration SME (Monitoring & Alerting)

Location: London - 3 days per week on-site/Remote remainder Duration: Initial 3 months Start Date: ASAP Day Rate: £600 per day (via Umbrella company)

Overview

We are seeking a Json Integration SME to support a key migration project for one of our financial services clients in the city of London. The role involves moving existing monitoring integrations from multiple platforms into a centralised event management environment.

The core focus is the rebuilding of JSON alert payloads, repointing integrations, and ensuring that all alerting behaviours function seamlessly throughout and after the migration process. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong, hands-on experience with JSON and REST API integrations, have a background in enterprise alerting and event management and show an understanding of event/incident management within monitoring and alerting ecosystems. You will also have a familiarity with tools such as SolarWinds, Azure Monitor, BizTalk, Azure Logic Apps, Pingdom, Terraform PagerDuty and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

• Recreate, rebuild, and update JSON alert payloads for ingestion by Moogsoft.
• Migrate, repoint, and validate monitoring integrations across multiple platforms.
• Test and verify alert flows, event handling, and continuity of existing alert behaviour.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure a smooth, low-risk transition.

• Understanding of event and incident management within monitoring/alerting ecosystems.
• Ability to demonstrate technical capability clearly when speaking with our consultants.
