Job description
As the DevOps Software Engineer, your role will include;
- Building container images with tools such as Podman and Docker
- Building and deploying containers in an offline environment
- Container orchestration with tools such as using Kubernetes and K3s
- Networking between containers
- Message queue libraries with tools such as ZMQ and RMQ
- Continuous integration with tools such Jenkins and Postman
- Database architecture and integration
- Interfacing with cloud environments with tools such as AWS
- You will be primarily be working with Linux OS using shell scripts and python
Requirements
As an experienced DevOps Software Engineer, your skills and experience may include;
- Experience of scripting in Python and/or Pearl
- Experience of configuration files in JSON, XML and YAML formats
- Knowledge of virtualisation and cloud computing
- Knowledge of well know Linux distributions including RedHat and Ubuntu
