Job description

As part of a team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and developing a complex distributed software product written in Java that powers several of the top 10 banks in the world.

On a daily basis you will:

Apply agile principles such as TDD to maintain and enhance a complex Java codebase.
Focus on security, performance and resiliency of the application.
Be customer-oriented, understanding the financial business behind the application, such as the financial messages and the financial networks.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test-driven development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Java software engineer with 3-5 years of experience.

Good secure coding skills.
Good analytical skills to be able to comprehend and maintain a complex codebase.- Holding a master's in science or engineering degree.- Familiar with the main technologies Java 21, Jakarta EE, Oracle database, Linux.- Familiar with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.- Agile mindset, applying test-driven development and test-driven design in practice.
