Job description
The Payment unit owns the end-to-end customer journey from technical consultative selling, over delivery up to smooth ongoing operations for customers of HRS payment solutions. The business unit is responsible for understanding customer requirements, demonstrating the value and capabilities of HRS payment solution offerings, addressing technical inquiries, and building trust with prospects as well as existing HRS payment customers. The more corporate clients use PAY, the more third-party partners such as banks, card issuers, ERPs, booking platforms and other financial service providers want to partner and collaborate with us, and this drives further commercial growth for PAY by monetizing these partnership streams., We are looking for a Germany based Solution Designer PAY (all genders) reporting directly to the Global Director Payment Consulting. This role will manage the sales process for HRS payment solutions in DACH, from opportunity handover from sales to transition to the implementation team. The goal is to maximize conversion rates, reduce time-to-market, ensuring efficient, impactful payment solutions for HRS' customers in DACH., * Demo HRS payment solutions during sales process
- Develop detailed proposals for clients
- Lead technical discussions with top clients and internal/external stakeholders, presenting payment solution architectures that align with clients IT system set up.
- Partner with clients, and product management to understand complex payment, ERP, and procurement system requirements, designing tailored solutions (if required) that drive efficiency and value.
- Serve as the main technical liaison during the pre-sales process, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop multi-market roll-out plans in close alignment with the implementation team.
- Validating the solution with all key decision makers from customer side (e.g. travel management, Finance/Accounting).
- Align closely with delivery team to ensure that designed solution can be technically implemented.
Ecosystem orchestration:
- Ensure proactive orchestration of all necessary ecosystem partners: Online Booking Engine provider, Travel Management company, Issuers.
Commercial and contract management:
- Develop business cases showcasing ROI for clients when using HRS payment solution.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in payment solutions, ERP integration, or fintech within a B2B SaaS or corporate travel environment.
- Proven experience in B2B sales enablement, supporting commercial teams in positioning and designing payment solutions to enterprise clients
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite), expense management platforms (Concur, Emburse, Cytric), and procurement tools (Coupa, SAP Ariba)
- Expertise in virtual cards, payment automation, reconciliation workflows, and financial compliance.
- Experience working with issuers like AirPlus, Citi, and global financial service providers to optimize corporate payment flows
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management experience, including managing client expectations and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in German and English.
