IT Maintenance Engineer (L2 Support)

In our team you will work as a Maintenance Support Engineer at Galileo Service Centre (GSC) in Toulouse ensuring operational continuity through preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of software configuration changes. You will be at the heart of a global infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of one of the world's most advanced ground segments. Your work will directly impact the performance and evolution of the Galileo eco system. You could be part of a dynamic, international environment, contributing to a project that spans continents and supports services used by millions worldwide.

Some of the tasks includes:

• Implement software configuration changes at the GSC Backup.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance of GNSS Service Centre systems.
• Troubleshoot operational systems and develop workarounds when procedures fail.
• Support GSC operations teams during critical activities, including site hand-over.
• Apply software patches, verify installations, and restore systems.
• Maintain and develop the troubleshooting platform.
• Contribute to maintenance and development of training material.
• Prepare monthly service reports and test documentation as required.
• Travel for training and workshops
• Able to work in exceptional cases outside of 8/5 working basis

Do you have experience in Windows?, We are looking for engineers in computer science, IT, Telecommunications, or related field with experience in:

• Ground system AIV campaigns and operational environments
• Linux/Unix administration (shell scripting, system configuration, troubleshooting).
• Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and system management.
