Job description

We are looking to recruit a qualified GIS Analyst, to assist our Land Information team in supporting our expanding client base. You will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of renewables and infrastructure projects providing bespoke geospatial solutions., * Undertake layout plan production, site suitability modelling, route optioneering and bespoke spatial data analysis to support site selection, planning feasibility/risk, land referencing, and environmental assessment

  • Management of project spatial data
  • Support data visualisation and reporting through web-GIS tools (e.g. ArcGIS Online, Dashboards, Experience Builder).
  • Map geo-referencing and digitisation
  • Land referencing support

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in ArcGIS?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Degree qualified in GIS, Geography, or a similarly related discipline

  • Demonstrable experience working in a GIS role within the renewables or infrastructure sector
  • Strong understanding of UK spatial datasets, land ownership, and environmental/technical constraints relevant to renewable energy development.
  • Proficient in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Field Maps.

Other desirable skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in producing high-quality maps and plans for renewable energy projects
  • Advanced geoprocessing skillset and ability automate repetitive GIS workflows using Python, ModelBuilder, or ArcPy to improve efficiency
  • An innovative streak and keenness to develop new tools, build innovative web-GIS applications and research new methods in spatial analysis.
