Job description
- Lead the migration of existing AWS-based pipelines (Airflow, S3, GitLab) into Azure Data Factory.
- Refactor Python code into Databricks notebooks (PySpark).
- Develop secure and efficient data integrations using REST APIs and SQL Server.
- Ensure data quality, traceability, and reproducibility throughout the migration.
- Collaborate closely with Risk Modelling, Data Science, and IT teams.
- Contribute to testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data engineering and cloud platform migrations.
- Strong hands-on skills with Azure Data Factory, Databricks (PySpark), SQL Server, REST APIs, GitHub/GitHub Actions.
- Solid knowledge of Python.
- Familiarity with AWS components (Airflow, S3, GitLab).
- Prior experience in banking, finance, or risk modelling is a strong advantage.
