Job description

The role of Software Tester is to provide structured user testing and quality assurance of key software applications / products (apps and web) prior to production and work with development teams to minimise the amount of post-release support needed., * Test Planning: Collaborate on defining test objectives, strategies, and analysing requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Test Execution & Automation: Execute tests, report defects, and design/maintain automated test scripts for efficiency and coverage.
  • Environment & Design: Set up test environments, maintain test cases, and ensure effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Seek enhancements in the testing process, generate insightful test reports, and stay updated with industry trends and skill development., * Understanding & Testing: Comprehend business goals, user behaviour, and ensure structured, repeatable testing across platforms.
  • Automation & Data: Create reusable test scripts and ensure appropriate test data and utilities are in place.
  • Defect Management & Documentation: Log/report defects, support their resolution, and maintain clear testing documentation.
  • UAT & QA Framework: Lead User Acceptance Testing initiatives and research effective Quality Assurance frameworks.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Quality assurance?, * Practical and operational experience of applying formal structured methods

  • Experienced in using test tools i.e., JIRA
