Performance Modelling Engineer

• Develop, validate, and maintain Gas Turbine performance models, with a focus on steady state and transient behaviour.
• Apply thermodynamic principles such as the Brayton cycle to performance studies.
• Conduct simulations and cycle analysis for SCO3 applications.
• Work with modelling environments such as NPSS or equivalent (GasTurb, PROOSIS, RR toolsets).
• Post-process data and create automation tools using Python.
• Use object-oriented programming (C++ preferred) to enhance and customise modelling workflows.
• Present and communicate complex technical results to internal and external stakeholders

• Strong experience in Gas Turbine performance engineering, including steady state and transient analysis.
• Understanding of SCO3 cycles and their application in propulsion and energy systems.
• Proficiency in performance toolsets such as NPSS, or transferable experience with GasTurb, PROOSIS, RR performance tools.
• Programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Strong technical communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
