Senior Software Engineer - Wealth Management

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software solutions, driving architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and ensuring technological alignment with business objectives. The role also involves supporting second-level client requests, improving development pipelines, and fostering effective cross-team collaboration., * Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications within the Assetmax suite.

• Own critical features and deliver them end-to-end. Lead architectural discussions and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of quality and collaboration.

• Work with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to align solutions with wealth management requirements.

• Contribute to build and release pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Nexus.

• Stay current on emerging technologies and financial software trends to continuously enhance the platform.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our product development team for Assetmax, our core financial software platform. The ideal candidate brings solid engineering experience in the financial sector, preferably in wealth or asset management, and is comfortable contributing as both a hands-on developer and technical leader., * Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java; knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Professional experience in the financial industry, ideally in wealth or asset management.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor developers.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
