IT System Engineer

We are looking for an IT System Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps to support and further develop our internal IT systems while ensuring reliable and secure operations., * Manage and optimize Microsoft Cloud platforms such as Azure, Entra ID, Teams (incl. telephony), SharePoint, Microsoft Defender, and Intune to ensure secure and smooth daily operations.

• Automate workflows and routine processes using Power Automate, Ansible, or similar tools, and create scripts in PowerShell or Python to improve efficiency.

• Provide cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, ensuring a reliable and consistent user experience.

• Assist in the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks, including firewalls, proxies, and VPN gateways.

• Collaborate with the IT Team Lead and CTO on infrastructure improvements and automation projects.

• Document systems, configurations, and processes to support knowledge sharing and smooth operations.

Do you have experience in macOS?, * Minimum 3 years of experience in a role such as IT System Engineer.

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud platforms; Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Defender.

• Practical knowledge of automation tools (Power Automate, Ansible) and basic scripting skills with PowerShell or Python.

• Familiarity with supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux systems in a corporate environment.

• Experience in virtualization platforms, ideally Proxmox.

• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts, including firewalls, proxies, and VPN gateways.

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
