Front End Developer / Engneer - Established AI Start-Up - London / Hybrid - To £74k + Equity

This Ground Breaking and Established Ai Start-up Seek an addition Front End Developer / Engineer to joinng their small but growing Team.

Based in Central London (Hybrid Role - Usually 1 Day a week in the Office and the occasional Team Week (Mon - Thurs)) - You will be be joining at an exciting time, as the Company expand at pace (sensibly) - 15000+ users currently.

You will be passionate about everything Front End (Full Stack Engineers are also welcome to apply, however this Role will be 80% Front End.

You will collaborate closely with the Lead Frontend Engineer, CTO, and Creative Lead to turn complex ideas into polished, high-performing user experiences.

Stack

· Frontend: Vue 3 (Composition API), TypeScript

· Backend: Python, FastAPI

· Cloud: Azure

Vue experience isn't essential - Happy with React, Svelte or similar component-based framework experience.

Your Role

Own features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation to release, iteration, and ongoing improvement.

Own specific areas of the Front End codebase, from components to flows

Collaborate with product, design, and Back End to translate Figma designs and product requirements into functional, high-quality code.

Improve Front End performance, accessibility, and overall quality

Shape Front End standards, structure, and tooling as growth continues

Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and team stand-ups, helping us maintain a high engineering standard.

Do you have experience in Vue.js?, You can operate independently as a solid mid-level engineer (or higher). With several (3+ years experience) - but knowledge, ability and passion win over years...

Strong experience with a modern component-based Front End framework (Vue, React, Svelte, etc.)

Proficiency with TypeScript or modern JavaScript

Experience owning features or areas of a production codebase

Good understanding of APIs, state management, and Ffront End architecture

A strong product and UX mindset: you care about users, not just code

Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving environment

Strong communication, especially in hybrid/remote collaboration

Nice to Have

Vue 3 + Composition API experience

Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries

Performance and accessibility optimisation experience

Experience with dashboards or complex interfaces

Prior startup or scale-up experience
