Requirements

  • Relevant experience as a Software / Test Engineer
  • Demonstrable proficiency in key technologies and frameworks including .NET framework / C# and knowledge / experience of React JS
  • Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment when the way forward is not always clear
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code practices, SOLID Principles and Design Patterns
  • Knowledge of Agile practices, principles and theories
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

About the company

AXA is investing in all UK&I businesses to transform and deliver new digital services to our customers, automate our business processes and continue our growth. We're now looking for Solution Engineers to join us, supporting our Retail business unit which has undergone significant transformation and increased success in recent years. You'll provide hands-on technical capability within a Solution Delivery Squad contributing to secure software development, delivery and continuous improvement within the team. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
