Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Java Developer to join our remote engineering team in the UK. This opportunity is open to developers across all experience levels-from recent graduates to seasoned professionals. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend applications and services using Java and modern frameworks., * Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related technologies.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in system design, architecture, and development processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test automation?, * Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+).

Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Jakarta EE.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best coding practices.
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with REST API development.
Experience with version control tools (Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
Experience with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
Knowledge of automated testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium).
Must have legal eligibility to work in the UK (Valid Visa).
