Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Java Developer to join our remote engineering team in the UK. This opportunity is open to developers across all experience levels-from recent graduates to seasoned professionals. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend applications and services using Java and modern frameworks., * Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related technologies.

  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in system design, architecture, and development processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test automation?, * Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+).

  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Jakarta EE.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best coding practices.
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with REST API development.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
  • Experience with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium).
  • Must have legal eligibility to work in the UK (Valid Visa).

Pay: £40,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
