Job description
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for scenarios and projects involving field devices and intelligent actuators
- Perform connectivity, functional, system, network, and data integrity testing, support user acceptance testing
- Develop test strategies, specify and implement test automation
- Oversee the test environment and processes
- Evaluate new testing methodologies and tools
- Manage test activities using Agile Scrum as part of an ART
- Collaborate closely with testing team, as well as with system architects, firmware engineers, product managers, and other teams
- Opportunity to assume additional responsibilities over time based on interest and availability
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor or master degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Three years or more of work experience, with knowledge in test methodologies and test execution.
- Solid understanding of software architecture foundations and comprehensive knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Experience programming in C#, Python, and Test-Tool programming languages
- Previous experience in building automation or the SCADA domain, with relevant protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, WLAN, RF (Thread, BT-Low Energy), KNX, etc., is advantageous
- You thrive in creative, fast-paced settings, enjoy teamwork, and are eager to embrace new challenges
- Interest in further professional growth towards the role of Test Professional
- Proficient in German and English
