Job description
As a working student (f/m/x), you will support our team in the technical preparation and automation of CAD data for our products, gaining exciting insights into visualization and interactive applications.Your key responsibilities include:
- Structuring and preparing CAD data
- Following and improving defined workflows
- Creating hierarchies and organizing complex assemblies
- Modeling missing components
- Take your skills to the next level with:
- Developing scripts (MaxScript or Python) to automate recurring tasks
- Building a toolbox of scripts to speed up CAD data preparation
Requirements
Do you have experience in Unreal Engine?, You are a great fit to this position, if you are a motivated and technically skilled student eager to contribute to our team. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Visualization, 3D Art, Game Design, or a comparable field
- Experience with 3ds Max and scripting (MaxScript or Python)
- Ideally, knowledge in:
- Unreal Engine 5
- Datasmith
- Blueprints
- Great willingness to learn and an analytical mindset
- Skills in communication and enthusiasm to work in a culturally diverse media team
- Good knowledge of English, written and spoken. German an advantage
- Organised, structured, thorough working style
