Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and Data Specialist to join our team in Thame, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our organization's data systems, ensuring data integrity, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes.

  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems and data warehouses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Implement data governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Perform complex data analysis and create insightful visualizations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve data management processes
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on data systems and tools
  • Participate in data integration and migration projects
  • Ensure data security and implement backup and recovery procedures

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Experience in systems and data management

  • Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Expertise in ETL processes, data modeling, and system architecture
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with data integration and migration projects
  • Understanding of data governance principles and security measures
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
