Job description

We're looking for an experienced n8n Integration Engineer to deliver a secure, fault-tolerant data orchestration layer that connects Salesforce, Mews, and Klaviyo.

This project is all about building a privacy-first, ID-only enrichment pipeline - minimising PII exposure while achieving 99.9% uptime through proper retry logic, idempotency, and DLQ management.

What you'll be doing

  • Deploying n8n in queue mode (Redis + HA Postgres) and configuring secure credentials.
  • Building Salesforce CDC triggers and ID-based enrichment flows for Klaviyo.
  • Designing a resilient DLQ with PII scrubbing, retention, and replay capabilities.
  • Integrating Mews APIs/webhooks and pushing enriched data to Klaviyo Events API.
  • Creating catalog sync jobs and lifecycle event automations.
  • Running resilience drills and producing full technical runbooks and documentation.

Requirements

  • -5 years' experience with n8n or similar automation/integration tools (Zapier, Airbyte, Fivetran, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of REST APIs, webhooks, and data transformation (JSON).
  • Knowledge of GDPR, PII minimisation, and secure data design.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker/K8s, Redis, and Postgres.
  • Confident implementing retry logic, DLQs, and idempotent event processing.

Bonus: SQL/Postgres scripting, message queues, or ETL experience.

If you're a hands-on automation engineer who loves building robust, privacy-safe data workflows - this is a brilliant short-term project with a genuinely interesting technical challenge.
