Job description

  • Support IAM initiatives including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management
  • Work with Okta Identity Engine to configure MFA, adaptive authentication, policies, and IdP setups
  • Customize sign-in flows, policies, and user experiences
  • Manage governance processes including access certifications, reviews, and approval workflows
  • Implement and automate provisioning/deprovisioning using Okta Workflows
  • Develop scripts for automation (Python) and integrate APIs and JSON data
  • Support Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) and collaborate with cloud teams
  • Troubleshoot authentication, SSO, provisioning, and Okta integration issues
  • Use monitoring, alerting, and incident management tools to maintain platform health

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced IAM / Okta Engineer to join our team and support enterprise Identity & Access Management initiatives. If you have strong hands-on experience with Okta Identity Engine (OIE), governance, automation, and authentication technologies, we'd love to hear from you., Identity & Access Management (IAM)

  • Experience in IAM projects
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management
  • Understanding of federation standards: SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0

Okta Identity Engine (OIE)

  • Proven hands-on experience with OIE
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization flows (MFA, adaptive auth)
  • IdP configuration, user/group/application management
  • Customization of sign-in experiences and policies

Okta Governance (OIG)

  • Experience with access reviews and certifications
  • Handling access requests and approval workflows
  • Managing connectors for provisioning & deprovisioning
  • Automation via Okta Workflows

Development

  • Python scripting & automation
  • API integrations and JSON data handling

Cloud & DevOps

  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)

Troubleshooting & Operations

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience resolving authentication, SSO, and provisioning incidents
  • Ability to diagnose issues across Okta integrations, workflows, and APIs
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident management tools
