Job description
A fintech infrastructure startup (VC backed) is building a real-time financial data platform designed to replace legacy systems and handle high-volume transactional workloads. We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to help build core backend services, modern web applications, and high-performance data pipelines. They operate on a fully remote basis.
What You'll Do
- Build REST/gRPC services and contribute to microservices
- Develop modern React-based web applications
- Implement real-time features (websockets, streaming, notifications)
- Improve performance, reliability, and observability
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and design
- Use AI tools to accelerate development
Requirements
- 4+ years full-stack experience
- Strong Go backend skills (Python/Java helpful)
- React with modern state management
- PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud-native architecture familiarity
- Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong communication and collaboration
Nice to Have
- Fintech or ledger system experience
- Core banking technology platform experience
- Event-driven architecture, CQRS, DDD
- Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS
- Real-time systems or high-throughput services
- IaC tools (Terraform/Pulumi)
