Job description
You will be responsible for the development of the enterprise architecture for Microsoft based applications and software development - using your in depth knowledge to influence stakeholders across the organisation, and representing the organisation at technical conferences.
- Maximising the use of Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform, Dataverse, NET, and Azure cloud services ensuring cost effectiveness and strategic alignment across NHS Wales
- Lead the definition and governance of HEIW's enterprise technical architecture
- Establish and enforce standards for software development and architecture to ensure consistency, best practice, quality, and alignment
- Leading and developing a high performing team to deliver excellent products and services
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring an in-depth understanding of Microsoft Systems including pro-code and low-code solutions, and the ability to manage and upskill a team., You will have a strong technical background, with a deep knowledge of Microsoft Systems and how to design digital systems and applications in a cost effective way.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, both Low-code and pro-code approaches to system and application development
- Strong leadership ability - with the ability to engage stakeholders at high level, and develop the skills of the team reporting in to you
- The ability to take charge of your own workstream, whilst working collaboratively across the business
- The ability to deliver assurance and governance for key workstreams
