Job description

Take the next step in your engineering career with Kelly Group, working on our long-standing Openreach contract. We're looking for seasoned engineers who know the Openreach network inside out and take pride in delivering first-time-right repair work at customer premises.

Whether your Openreach accreditations are in date, recently expired, or missing, we still want to hear from you - if you have strong experience on the Openreach network, we will support you in regaining or completing the required modules.

As a key part of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing Copper and Fibre faults on the Openreach network at customer locations.
  • Working both overhead and underground, confidently operating at height and within confined spaces.
  • Using test equipment to fault-find at multiple points across the network to deliver fast, accurate resolutions.
  • Working independently and within a team to meet performance targets and KPIs.
  • Following all Health & Safety and Openreach standards to ensure safe, high-quality work.

Accreditations such as SA001, SA002, E1, F5, F17, C4 and Streetworks are highly desirable. Engineers who have previously held these and can refresh are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Load balancing?, * Proven experience in a Repair role on the Openreach network.

  • Strong understanding of copper faulting, pair quality testing, and end-to-end repair processes.
  • Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to working to industry standards.
  • Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year across regional areas.
  • Confident using smart devices, apps, and digital job packs.
  • Organised, analytical, and able to prioritise effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 15m.
  • Full UK manual driving licence (12+ months, max 6 points).
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
