Security Designer

• To be the lead designer on passport and identity card projects.
• Produce innovative, aesthetically attractive and secure designs from concept through to finished security artwork in accordance with design rules.
• Confidently present and communicate designs to customers.
• Lead design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create accurate sign off documentation for customer approvals.
• To lead design workshops with the customer to understand and document their requirements as a basis for concept design creations.
• To actively seek to understand the required aesthetic and technical context for each design.
• To regularly engage with the customer team to ensure designs remain within the brief.
• Ensure that the correct files are issued to origination teams.
• A willingness to travel.

You will have a 'design first' mindset where you are confident to showcase your creativity and vision for security design. You will be a team player who can work closely with our internal team and our customers' teams. You will be a recognised specialist who has outstanding design skills, experience and technical knowledge. You will be able to create innovative design concepts and translate them into full security artwork. You will be able to work at pace without supervision. You should also be comfortable to work with briefs which develop and change over time through customer discussions., * A degree or equivalent in graphic design, fine art or a related subject OR extensive breadth of industry experience.

• Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Trained in Jura Corvina software.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design work.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Motion graphics and UI / UX skills are a useful addition to your skillset.
