Job description
- Analysis and preparation of data from upstream systems
- Modeling and implementation of scalable ELT/ETL processes (batch and streaming)
- Acting as an interface between Data Analysts and Data Scientists
- Data enrichment and loading into a Big Data environment (Apache Hadoop on Cloudera)
Requirements
- Technical education in Computer Science (e.g. technical college, university studies, Data Science)
- Experience in data modeling - both with relational databases and Apache Hadoop
- Sound knowledge of the following technologies:
- SQL (MS SQL Server)
- Apache Hadoop ecosystem (Kafka, NiFi, Flink)
- Programming skills in Scala and/or Java, Python
- Experience with Linux systems
- Interest in working with high-frequency data in a near real-time environment
