Requirements

The focus of your work will be the development of digital farming solutions, leveraging AI, cloud computing, and IoT technologies, frequently in collaboration with external partners. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative IoT Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge IoT applications and embedded systems for connected devices. You will integrate these devices with cloud platforms and back-end systems while collaborating closely with our researchers across various projects. As part of a cross- functional team, you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that contribute to the advancement of Industry 4.0/5.0, smart technologies, and their applications in diverse fields. A passion for staying ahead of emerging industry trends and technologies is essential., * A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PhD preferred.

  • Experience in writing scientific publications, project and studio reports.
  • Experience in the support of research grant applications and management upon success
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience in IoT development, embedded systems, or similar roles.
  • Experience with IoT protocols like MQTT, HTTP, and WebSockets and IoT cloud platforms.
  • Working knowledge of the application of AI tools and methodologies is preferred.
  • Understanding of networking, data management, and security in IoT environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Comfortable using English, with the ability to speak to and write for a range of professional audiences.
  • Organized, practical, and eager to learn how to support project management through tasks such as reporting and resource monitoring.
  • Willingness to support and mention junior team members

What the RSA FG can offer you?

  • The gross salary is ranging from a minimum or 4.200,00 per month (fulltime), the actual salary will be depending on qualification and experience. We also offer after some evaluation time additionally a success-based bonus of up to 20% of your gross salary
  • The offer is for 1 year, with the option of extending the contract based on an evaluation of your performance.
