We are looking for a Data Science Engineer (f/m/d) who will be at the forefront of turning vast, complex data into actionable intelligence. Your main tasks will be:
- Decode the data - Leverage natural language processing (NLP) to extract meaning from diverse datasets.
- Think like a scientist - Formulate hypotheses, uncover patterns, and pinpoint optimization opportunities.
- Build smarter AI - Develop, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models using Torch and TensorFlow.
- Bridge research & reality - Transform cutting-edge algorithms into production-ready solutions.
- Keep models sharp - Monitor, enhance, and continuously improve model performance and accuracy.
- Expand the data universe - Identify and integrate new data sources to enrich our intelligence.
- Collaborate & innovate - Work with cross-functional teams to tackle business challenges with data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in a data science environment
- Experience with NLP or other machine learning technologies
- Good experience in working with Python and Scala
- Experience with machine learning techniques and tools like Torch or Tensorflow
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Bonus points for:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Understanding of cloud-based services, especially Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Knowledge of NoSQL database systems
- Knowledge of agile software development techniques
