Sr. Network Validation Engineer

Supermico is seeking for a Network Validation Engineer who is experienced in working with networking products like InfiniBand and Ethernet and who enjoys working with engineering, product management, technical staff to develop debugging tools, test plans, and automation plans., Ethernet/IB switch or LOM/NIC products validation. The position comes with responsibility of testing networking products, monitoring the test output and its performance, and maintaining the SOP for test plan and test procedure, while support debugging of failed units for root cause investigation and feedback.

• Perform networking products validation (Function, Performance, and Stress)

• Familiar with Networking functions (SRIOV, NFVi, ...etc), or protocols (L2/L3, MLAG, ...etc).

• Report hardware and software quality assurance issues into bug tracking systems.

• Work with designers to resolve product issues discovered during test.

• Duplicate customer's issue if needed.

1. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor or above, 10 years working experience for networking testing; Knowledge of TCP/IP Layer 2, Layer3 or above; RESTCONF, Ansible; RoCEv2/CCL; Write test script for automation test; Knowledge of Server/PC architecture

2. Reasoning Ability: Packet generator: Viavi/Spirent or Keysight/Ixia; Performance utility: iperf, nuttcp, DPDK...etc; Test script: Shell script, Tcl or Python

3. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CCNA is considered a plus.
