Senior Android Developer

• Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications for phones and tablets.
• Implement, integrate, and optimize third-party SDKs including advertising, analytics, and privacy frameworks.
• Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving team productivity and ensuring the delivery of high-impact projects.
• Ensure application performance, stability, and responsiveness through profiling, debugging, and optimization .
• Write and maintain unit tests, UI tests, and automated pipelines to ensure code quality and minimize regressions.

• 5+ years of Android native mobile development experience .
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Familiarity with data structures, system design, and design patterns .
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party SDKs, working across distributed teams, and ensuring compliance with privacy and advertising technologies.

Nice-to-have:

• AI Tooling Proficiency : Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Passion for news and creativity in introducing new ideas and technologies .
• Full-stack background is a plus, with familiarity in cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.
• A background in journalism is advantageous .
