Job description
Lead the strategic transformation of the organisation through data-driven decision-making and AI adoption. This role will define and execute the roadmap for leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Data & AI Transformation Strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Champion a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
AI & Data Initiatives
- Oversee the design and deployment of AI solutions, predictive analytics, and automation frameworks.
- Ensure ethical, responsible, and compliant AI practices.
Governance & Architecture
- Establish robust data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Define architecture for scalable AI and data platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with C-suite and business units to identify opportunities for AI-driven growth.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and innovation specialists.
- Drive talent development and foster continuous learning.
Wider IT responsibilities
- As the most senior technology expert in the business, manage all hardware, software, procurement and external relationships aligned to our IT services and products.
- Any other reasonable duties under this position.
Requirements
Do you have a valid General Pharmaceutical Council Registration, General Pharmaceutical Council license?, Do you have experience in Machine learning?, * Proven experience in data strategy, AI implementation, and digital transformation. essential
- Strong knowledge of machine learning, cloud platforms, and data architecture. essential
- Advanced degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or Business Analytics. essential
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and ethical AI principles. essential
- Experience in enterprise-scale transformation projects. desirable
- Certifications in AI ethics, cloud technologies, and data governance. desirable
