We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer - SAP ABAP HANA to join our global technology team at Fossil Group. This role will support the design, development, and enhancement of scalable ABAP solutions on S/4HANA, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on key transformation projects and business initiatives. What you will do in this role:

• Lead and contribute to end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and S/4HANA conversion projects.
• Design, build, and enhance RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Develop custom ABAP programs, enhancements using BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Build applications using ABAP on HANA technologies, including CDS Views, AMDPs, and RAP framework.
• Design and implement OData services to support FIORI/UI5 applications.
• Perform technical reviews, conduct unit/system integration testing, and support production deployments.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and tune programs to improve performance and system efficiency.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and business analysts to understand business needs and deliver reliable solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles with version control.
• Stay updated with SAP's latest technologies and best practices; recommend enhancements to existing processes.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and change control management protocols.
• Participate in new project onboarding, KT sessions, and serve as technical SME for ABAP development.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including ABAP on HANA.
• Hands-on experience with:

• CDS Views, AMDPs, ODATA services, RAP framework
• RICEF objects, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs, SmartForms, SAPSCRIPT, IDOCs
• User exits, LSMW, and performance tuning

• Exposure to FIORI/UI5 development is a strong plus.
• Understanding of SAP functional modules: MM, SD, FICO, HR.
• Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, system integration (e.g., SAP PO, EDI).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalents.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP ABAP, SAP HANA) are preferred.
