The weekly working time is 16 hours. Requirements

  • PhD and M.Sc. with excellent grades in Computer Science, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, Biomathematics or a similar subject
  • Competitive scientific publication record
  • High level of intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm for translational research connecting academia and industry
  • Documented leadership experience, ideally as junior research group leader
  • Documented experience with relevant data type collected by smartphones and wearable devices, ideally in the field of neurodegenerative deseases
  • Documented experience with devoloping end-to-end software systems for healthcare applications
  • Experience with clinical trials
  • Strong programming skills in python
  • Strong programming skills für mobile and server side software (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Javascript)
  • Documented teaching and student supervision experience at the intersection of health and computer science
  • Ability to work independently
  • Very good English and German speaking and writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
