Your tasks and responsibilities
- You will design, code, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- You will take an active role in understanding business requirements and translating them into technological solutions.
- You will ask questions, challenge assumptions and bring your unique perspective as a software engineer to the table.
- Your responsibilities will also include using your technical expertise to support users.
- You will support the team by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, supporting others in their development, and showing leadership.
Requirements
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). For graduates who would be interested in a career with Airbus, this could be the start of a rewarding future in a dynamic and forward-thinking sector., * A strong interest in Flight Physics, aerodynamics, or related aerospace disciplines and understanding how the tools you develop are used to shape aircraft design. Eagerness to learn new technologies and expand your horizon.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and hands-on experience in at least one modern programming language such as Python, or C++ (essential for developing high-fidelity simulation and analysis tools).
- Good knowledge of Linux environments and scientific computing methods, including an understanding of how they are applied in aerospace analysis.
- Uncompromising on code quality. Master development with version control, static code analysis, unit testing, and issue tracking would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills. You have to be an active and open collaborator and communicator, both within and outside the team., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
