Key Requirements * Cloud Computing (Azure / AWS / GCP) : Deep understanding of cloud architecture and concepts; platform-agnostic. Azure is preferred but not mandatory. * Event-Driven Architecture and Distributed Systems : Must have significant hands-on experience; lack of exposure is a major concern. * Databases : Strong SQL expertise for optimization and performance tuning. NoSQL knowledge is a plus but not essential. * Infrastructure as Code : Understands concepts of IaC (Terraform ARM etc.); conceptual understanding is more important than specific tooling. * Scalability and Observability : Demonstrated experience working with high-traffic low-latency systems; understands key performance metrics. * CI / CD : Deep understanding of continuous delivery and integration practices regardless of the specific tool. * Technical Leadership : Guides architecture decisions mentors engineers and leads design sessions without line management responsibilities. * Communication : Clear structured communicator who can explain technical topics effectively.
