Senior Bot Developer

We are seeking a Senior Bot Developer to lead the design and development of advanced conversational AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on agentic AI, system integration, and mentorship. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about shaping the future of intelligent automation at Allianz.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect scalable bot frameworks, integrate them with enterprise systems, and guide junior developers through best practices and technical excellence.

What you do

• Lead the design and development of agentic AI bots capable of autonomous decision-making and multi-step task execution.
• Architect and implement integrations with internal systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, ticketing platforms) and external APIs.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level bot developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define bot behaviors and user journeys.
• Ensure bots are compliant with enterprise security, privacy, and performance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, technical workshops, and knowledge sharing., When we do work with recruitment agencies, that engagement is formalized by a contract. Fees will only be paid when there is a contract in place. Without a contract in place, we will not accept invoices on unsolicited resumes, even if the candidate was ultimately employed by Allianz.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in bot development, preferably with platforms like Cognigy, Microsoft Bot Framework, Rasa, Dialogflow, or similar.
• Deep understanding of agentic AI principles, including goal-oriented agents, memory, and planning.
• Strong background in system integration, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or other European languages are a plus
