You'll be the technical lead partnering directly with Operating Entities (OEs), translating innovative models into practical, high-impact automation and intelligent solutions that deliver measurable value.

- Design, engineer, and deploy (Agentic) AI-driven automation and analytics solutions across multiple business units.
- Productionize machine learning and Agentic systems with high availability, strong controls, and end-to-end observability.
- Implement and maintain compliance, governance, and safeguarding layers (e.g., guardrails, data controls, responsible AI standards).
- Build and refine MLOps and CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, secure, and compliant deployment cycles.
- Collaborate closely with security, risk, compliance, legal, architecture, and data governance teams.
- Partner directly with OEs to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet strict financial-services regulatory expectations for data handling, model governance, auditability, and operational resiliency.
- Deliver reusable components, reference architectures, and best practices for enterprise-wide AI adoption., When we do work with recruitment agencies, that engagement is formalised by a contract. Fees will only be paid when there is a contract in place. Without a contract in place, we will not accept invoices on unsolicited resumes, even if the candidate was ultimately employed by Allianz.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML, GenAI and Agentic solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong familiarity with Azure (Azure ML, OpenAI, AKS, App Services) and AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, EKS).
- Significant experience with Databricks, including MLflow, Delta Lake, Feature Store, and production pipelines.
- Solid engineering skills in Python and/or JVM languages; experience building APIs and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience delivering AI systems that align with financial-industry regulatory frameworks.
- Strong understanding of compliance, model risk management, data governance, encryption, and access controls.
- Proven ability to implement AI safeguarding measures, including responsible AI guardrails and monitoring.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
- Ability to implement drift detection, telemetry, structured logging, and model lifecycle governance.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering production-ready systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional, distributed teams.
