As a System Architect, you will be building bridges to Software Engineering and ensuring that software solutions follow the target architecture. CLM is a global business transformation program aiming at harmonizing the Target Operating Model for the Client Lifecycle Value chain. We deliver two main capabilities, managing and distributing client data, and covering the processes for Prospecting, Client Profiling, Onboarding, KYC, Maintenance and Offboarding.
As a CLM System Architect, you'll be actively participating in the global domain board by presenting your solution blueprints, reviewing blueprints from peers, by shaping the target architecture and by enforcing the architecture governance with the product/development teams., * Design and take responsibility for the Solution Architecture of applications in delivery
- Ensure that Solution Architectures in delivery adhere to architecture standards and align with the target architectures of the domain
- Raise and manage architecture debt when there is misalignment between transition and target architectures
- Initiate architecture decisions, document them as Architecture Decision Records (ADR), and get them approved by the relevant architecture boards
- Advise and coach software engineers in the product teams on implementing Solution Architectures and ensure technical feasibility
- Support later phases of the software lifecycle, such as testing, release, and operations, in addition to architecture blueprints
- Work closely with product owners to refine and shape initiatives, translate them into capabilities, and implementable building blocks
- Be responsible for solution architectures: from design and implementation to operation
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop collaboratively and coordinate solutions with business and technology stakeholders, as well as architecture colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Architect
- At least 5 years of experience as a Lead or Senior Software Engineer
- Ability to identify options for solution architectures and make trade-off architecture decisions
- Ability to abstract complex topics and focus on the key issues that require architecture decisions
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Affinity for agile delivery and the role of architecture in SAFe methodology (SAFe Certification is a plus)
- Good knowledge of business process modeling, including an understanding of the BPMN 2.0 standard
- Proven experience in solution design and knowledge of current architecture styles, such as event-driven, microservices, and modular monolith
- Familiarity with integration patterns, event-driven architecture, data streaming, and Kafka
- Deep understanding and experience in software engineering, including DevOps
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem development environments and Kubernetes
- Experience or affinity for highly regulated industries like Banking/FI
- Strong communication skills in English (C1 level), with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
