Responsibilities * Support accumulation management modelers in process and workflow automations. * Build new and enhance existing applications with SQL, ensuring robust and high-performance operations. * Develop solutions for both local and global customers. * Expand expertise in existing and new functionalities, applying best practices. * Manage SQL development, including reading and executing SQL execution plans. * Maintain and optimise SQL databases. * Manage solution components and dependencies with upstream and downstream systems. * Align solutions with application development and security best practices. * Support testing and validation of changes. * Oversee issue resolution and participate in defect triages. * Support accumulation management modelers and collaborate with experts in various domains. * Contribute to a team that values input and creativity. Qualifications * University level education or equivalent. * Advanced level of English. * Strong knowledge of SQL (reading and executing execution plans, housekeeping, monitoring, optimisation, performance management, implementation). * Understanding of SSIS: ETL processes, automation, troubleshooting, dynamic SQL execution. * Experience in orchestration (preferably Azure Data Factory). * Experience in R language. * Understanding of .NET, C#, and APIs. * Experience with complex natural catastrophe modelling applications. * Nice to have: understanding of CI/CD deployments. * Nice to have: basic actuarial knowledge. * Nice to have: basic understanding of Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps. * Soft skills and understanding of Agile methodology. * Team collaboration skills. * Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
