Job description

We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, bringing strong skills in visualization, interaction, information architecture, and prototyping. Your ability to listen, empathize, and co-create will help us deliver solutions that truly meet user needs. For this role, we welcome team members who enjoy collaborating with developers and bring strengths in visual UI design.
- Understanding people, business and societies, framing the problem with a strong focus on user needs and requirements;
- Creating user focused strategies, innovations, solutions and experiences and the user testing and validation of these, considering usability, sustainability and appropriate visual and verbal articulation in line with Philips' Design Language System and Brand guidelines;
- Contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment, where team members inspire and learn from each other";
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, communicating thoughtfully and sharing design decisions transparently;
- Embracing feedback and guidance, and actively supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Design, Design Research, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with complex systems for professional use in regulated environments, preferably healthcare.
- Ability to synthesize different perspectives and reframe design challenges.
- Works together with project teams to co-create design solutions, considering the broader ecosystem and valuing diverse perspectives
- Experience with Figma, MS Office, prototyping tools, and Agile methodologies
- Applying a company's Design System and Brand guidelines
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
