Job description

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with an award-winning IT Support company to assist with their recruitment of a 1st Line Analyst to join their team in London., The successful candidate will have foundational IT experience and a keen interest in delivering excellent first-line technical support, resolving common technical issues, supporting end-users remotely, and escalating complex cases to the L2 team where necessary., * Provide first-line support to clients via phone, email, and remote tools

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktop, server, network and cloud environments
  • Log, manage and own support requests through to resolution or escalation
  • Assist with procurement queries, software licencing and general IT advice
  • Maintain documentation
  • Setting up and configuring new desktops, laptops and printers

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role, ideally within a MSP
  • Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 and macOS
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace
  • Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
  • A logical thinker with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to be flexible and work to changing priorities
